The Ambulatory Care Nurse will be responsible for supporting the coordination, integration, communication, implementation, and evaluation of nursing practice, clinical policies, and procedures. This role involves active participation in site and organizational quality and performance improvement activities, systematic collection of patient healthcare data using appropriate assessment techniques, and collaboration with licensed providers to develop patient-centered plans of care aimed at achieving expected outcomes. The Ambulatory Care Nurse delivers comprehensive care to meet all patient requirements, including administering treatments and medications, monitoring for untoward events or symptoms, providing disease prevention guidance, rehabilitation care, public health care, and supportive care for symptom relief, which encompasses health teaching and health counseling.
