Amazon Advertising Manager

Lucky 21
Remote

About The Position

Lucky 21 runs the marketplace business for apparel brands on Amazon and Walmart.com, including Tommy Hilfiger, Reebok, Puma, and U.S. Polo Assn. We operate as a full-service agency, handling buying, inventory, pricing, shipping, advertising, and reporting. This role focuses on advertising as a component of a larger operation, allowing the manager to leverage insights into product costs, inventory levels, orders, and earnings to drive profitable business growth. The position involves owning the advertising for multiple real storefronts, making strategic spend decisions, defending those decisions to buyers, and being evaluated based on profitability rather than just clicks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of making critical financial decisions with real capital, not just theoretical knowledge of advertising metrics.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience with Amazon Sponsored Products and Sponsored Brands, with the ability to describe specifics like SKU count, monthly spend, changes made, and outcomes.
  • An Amazon Ads certification (Sponsored Ads Advanced, Campaign Optimization, or Advanced Retail).
  • Ability to perform profit math unassisted, calculating product earnings after all costs and fees, and determining the break-even ACoS.
  • Serious proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, lookup and conditional-aggregation formulas, filtering large datasets, and extracting meaningful insights.
  • Experience using AI as a working tool for research and analysis, with an interest in building automation rather than manual processes.
  • A workspace that supports overnight work, including reliable power, backup internet, and a quiet environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience launching products from scratch and achieving a desired rank.
  • Prior Feedvisor experience, or experience with another platform where campaigns were managed to a target rather than by hand-setting bids.
  • Experience in apparel or softlines, where size and color variations add complexity.
  • Experience in inventory, buying, or merchandising roles, in addition to advertising.

Responsibilities

  • Owning the advertising for several real storefronts.
  • Deciding where ad spend goes and defending those decisions to buyers.
  • Being measured on profit rather than clicks.
  • Reviewing daily data files for each storefront, which include product-level details and parent-level pivots with inventory, stock levels, pricing, costs, fees, sales, ad spend, ACoS, and budgets.
  • Approving, rejecting, or overriding proposed changes flagged by tooling, providing reasoning, and submitting approved changes as Feedvisor bulk files.
  • Managing budget allocation and pacing across storefronts and products to ensure full spend throughout the day without running dry or leaving budget unused.
  • Launching new products by building campaign structures, researching keywords, setting initial budgets and targets, and monitoring performance during the initial weeks.
  • Harvesting search terms from broad and auto campaigns that are converting and promoting them into exact match campaigns.
  • Identifying and removing terms that are not converting and are wasting budget, at the appropriate match type.
  • Conducting keyword and rank research to identify target terms, track current rankings, and improve product visibility.
  • Monitoring brand leakage and analyzing daily spend across products.
  • Working with buyers, who own the merchandise and purchasing decisions, as counterparts, involving regular disagreements and data-backed discussions.
  • Flagging slips before deadlines and immediately reporting mistakes with attached data.
  • Managing campaigns within Feedvisor, setting targets and budgets, and determining when to adjust them.
  • Using Helium10 for keyword and rank research, opportunity sizing, competitor analysis, and rank tracking.
  • Utilizing Amazon Ads console and Seller Central for search term reports, Search Query Performance, Brand Analytics, and campaign diagnostics.

Benefits

  • Paid every two weeks.
  • Two-week paid onboarding period at full rate, with real work on real storefronts and decisions reviewed before going live.
  • Processes are properly documented.
