Join the culinary team at Vintage, the Forbes Travel Guide Four Star-rated restaurant located within the historic Inn at Willow Grove. We specialize in elevated American cuisine "with a twist," featuring menus that evolve with the seasons. From gourmet pub fare and bustling Sunday brunches to elegant holiday celebrations, Vintage makes every day a special occasion. We are seeking a passionate and dedicated AM Chef (Line Cook) who thrives in a high-standard kitchen and has a genuine drive to provide our guests with an exceptional dining experience.

Requirements

  • Solid understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks within a fast-paced environment.
  • Familiarity with culinary best practices and a commitment to maintaining a premium dining standard.
  • Ability to work on your feet for shifts of eight hours or more.
  • High level of professionalism and excellent team collaboration skills.
  • Must be able to work independently.

Responsibilities

  • Set up, stock, and maintain stations with all necessary supplies for the shift.
  • Prepare high-quality food for service, including cooking eggs, all Breakfast and Lunch dishes.
  • Cook menu items in cooperation with the kitchen team and promptly follow instructions from the Executive and Sous Chefs.
  • Ensure all dishes come out simultaneously, executing them with consistent quality and in a timely fashion.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace, properly store food, and strictly comply with all nutrition, sanitation, and safety regulations.
  • Stock and manage kitchen inventory appropriately.
  • Maintain a positive, professional, and "common sense" approach when interacting with coworkers and handling job responsibilities.
  • Must be able to work independently.
