About The Position

This position involves serving as a Server, Barista, and Bartender in the Courtyard by Marriott Sedona's BISTRO. Responsibilities include preparing easy-to-make items, performing opening and closing duties, and setting up necessary supplies and tools. Job hours vary but are typically between 5:30 AM and 11:00 AM. The role requires maintaining cleanliness of equipment and work areas, taking customer orders, inputting them into the Micros POS system, handling payments, and preparing food, coffee, and alcoholic beverages. The position also involves assisting in other Food and Beverage areas, such as bussing tables, delivering food, and general cleaning.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

  • Cleaning all equipment areas, locking equipment doors, etc.
  • Set up, stock, clean and maintain work areas.
  • Take orders from customers, input orders in Micros POS system, and obtain payment and provide change.
  • Upscale customer food orders.
  • Communicate additional meal requirements, allergies, dietary needs, and special requests to the kitchen.
  • Prepare food, coffee and other beverages, including alcohol.
  • Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food.
  • Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklist.
  • Provide assistance in Food and Beverage areas including busing, cleaning and resetting tables, delivering food to guests, general cleaning of food and beverage prep areas and other areas within the lobby area.
  • Count bank at the end of shift, complete designated cashier reports, resolve any discrepancies, drop off receipts, and secure bank.
