About The Position

The Alumni Coordinator at WE LEVEL UP is responsible for developing and maintaining a robust alumni network, fostering strong relationships between the organization and its former members. This role is pivotal in creating opportunities for alumni engagement, supporting career development, and enhancing the overall experience of alumni through various programs and initiatives.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in alumni relations, event planning, or a related field.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and executing alumni engagement programs.
  • Experience in developing and maintaining relationships with diverse stakeholders, including alumni, donors, and community partners.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with a wide range of audiences.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in using alumni management software and databases.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • CPR Certification Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Communication, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to engage alumni and strengthen their connection with WE LEVEL UP.
  • Organize and coordinate alumni events, including reunions, networking sessions, and professional development workshops.
  • Maintain and update the alumni database to ensure accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create and distribute newsletters, updates, and other communications to alumni.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with key alumni to encourage participation in mentoring, volunteering, and fundraising activities.
  • Analyze alumni feedback and data to assess the effectiveness of programs and make necessary improvements.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for alumni inquiries and provide support as needed.
  • Develop partnerships with external organizations to enhance alumni opportunities and resources.
  • Monitor trends and best practices in alumni relations to continually improve engagement strategies.
