About The Position

The Aurora R-VIII School District is seeking a full-time Alternative School Special Education Teacher for students in grades 7-12. This role requires knowledge of the special education process and the ability to provide specialized services. The ideal candidate will possess strong documentation, communication, and behavior/classroom management skills. Experience working with at-risk students and building rapport with students and families is essential. Certification in special education, ideally with an additional core area, is beneficial.
