The State Street Alpha Middle Office Product Implementations team is looking for a qualified analyst with strong experience in Collateral Management as well as implementation best practices, system flows and business architecture to execute client implementations of the industry’s first ever front-to-back client servicing platform. The successful candidate must be highly organized and be able to move seamlessly between multiple implementations and manage detailed and complex subject matter in a way that drives successful client outcomes. This individual will be responsible for assisting with the due diligence, solution design, implementation/onboarding, and successful execution of Alpha Middle Office Implementations tied to the Collateral Management workstream.

  • Capable of identifying and interpreting wider-ranging issues: ‘Big picture’ understanding.
  • Demonstrate understanding of Operations processes and procedures and an ability to effectively partner with cross functional services team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, written and oral; confident in interaction with clients and senior stakeholders.
  • Experience with designing and scoping new solutions by analyzing requirements, studying system capabilities, and writing detailed business requirements.
  • Very strong interest in the underlying detail of the analysis.
  • Communicate complex analysis and insights to senior stakeholders and business leaders, both verbally and in writing

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with key client contacts and ensure that the collateral workstream is successful
  • Define project objectives, scope, and deliverables in collaboration with product owners, management and clients.
  • Supports the Implementation Lead in managing client business requirements, gap identification/resolution, and associated action items
  • Capable to take lead in driving designated issues with direction from the Implementation Lead.
  • Utilizes standard artifacts and ensures the completion of necessary documentation to drive the successful completion of onboarding activities
  • Ensures all Implementation owned Tollgates in JIRA or other implementation tools are progressed toward timely complementation under an Implementation Leads direction
  • Works with State Street peers across other workstreams to ensure effective coordination and communication on complex multi-functional subject matter.
  • Provide guidance to teams on technical analysis and advice to clients (internal and external) on current and future state data-centric operating models.
  • Ensure that teams have knowledge of analysis best practices and document data mappings from source systems involved in the solution, where applicable.
  • Drive improvements in the Project Plans with tightened governance of interdependent tasks within the Collateral workstream.
  • Work with Product teams on Implementation requirements and ensure that they are on the Product roadmap for timely delivery.
  • Ensure there is adherence to standards as best as possible and eliminate customizations by thorough review of client requirements with implementation leads.
  • Assist with Service Definitions and pre-sales initiatives when called upon to do so.
  • Display a culture of ownership and accountability.
  • Drive cross pollination of intra service families and participate in inter service family cross pollination to promote the culture of ONE Alpha Middle Office Product Implementation team.
