Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Handle metal parts ranging from 10 lbs. to 150 lbs.
• Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required.
• Prolonged standing is required.
• Work is repetitive in nature; therefore, close attention to detail is required.
• Operator must focus on each individual part and make decisions on what action should be taken.
• Operator must use an alloy metal saw, grinder, and welder.

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience preferred
• Knowledge of job splitting and alloy types preferred
• 1-3 year related manufacturing experience preferred
• Previous Forklift experience preferred
• Previous experience using saw, grinder, and welding equipment preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle metal ingot ranging from 10 lbs. to 150 lbs.
• Heavy lifting, pushing and pulling is required.
• Prolonged standing is required.
• Work is repetitive in nature; therefore, close attention to detail is required.
• Operator must focus on each individual part and make decisions on what action should be taken.
• The employee must read the flow sheet, follow instructions written and oral production instructions.
• The employee must make sure all trees are together and match the required number shown on the flow sheet.
• Properly record in the electronic production tracking system (EPICOR) the progress and completion of jobs.
• The employee must inspect and keep saw and grinder components clean of material build up.
• Employee must communicate between Mold Prep and Casting to ensure workflow is not impeded.
• Operator must use alloy metal saw, grinder, and welder to ensure ingot is at specifications according to work instructions.
