Remote Allergy Utilization Reviewer (Indiana Licensed)- 1099 Contractor
About The Position
Medical Review Institute of America (MRIoA) is seeking board-certified physicians in Allergy and Immunology to conduct independent utilization reviews. This is a flexible, fully remote independent contractor (1099) opportunity requiring approximately 1–2 hours per week, with no minimum commitment. Reviewers may work remotely from anywhere in the United States, subject to HIPAA requirements that patient records remain in the United States. The reviewer is covered under MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy and must comply with applicable HIPAA regulations and company policies and procedures concerning the confidentiality, privacy, and security of sensitive health information. Daytime availability is required for peer-to-peer conversations.
Requirements
- Medical degree (MD or DO).
- Current Indiana medical license.
- Current board certification in Allergy and Immunology.
- At least 5 years of clinical experience; residency counts toward this requirement.
- Daytime availability for peer-to-peer conversations.
