Remote Dermatology Utilization Reviewer (Indiana Licensed) - 1099 Contractor
About The Position
Medical Review Institute of America (MRIoA) is seeking Board-Certified physicians in Dermatology to conduct independent Utilization Reviews. This is a flexible, fully remote opportunity requiring just 1–2 hours per week with no minimum commitment. Work remotely from anywhere in the US, adhering to HIPAA regulations. This is an Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity, covered under MRIoA's Errors and Omissions policy. Workers must adhere to all applicable HIPAA regulations and company policies regarding the confidentiality, privacy, and security of sensitive health information.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO)
- Current Indiana unencumbered medical license
- Current Board Certification in Dermatology
- 5 years of clinical experience (residency included)
- Daytime availability for peer-to-peer conversations
- Adherence to all applicable HIPAA regulations and company policies
Responsibilities
- Conduct independent Utilization Reviews.
- Participate in peer-to-peer conversations during daytime availability.
