About The Position

Florida ENT and Allergy is seeking an energetic and positive individual to join their team. This role is for a full-time Allergy Technician, ideal for an LPN, RN, or Certified Medical Assistant. The practice offers comprehensive ENT medical and surgical care, prioritizing patient well-being and team collaboration. The Allergy Technician will be involved in all aspects of Allergy, ENT, and Audiology, requiring multitasking, motivation, and the ability to handle a high patient volume.

Requirements

• Active LPN, RN or Certified Medical Assistant licensure/certification
• Minimum two-years hands-on clinical experience
• Willing to travel between locations as needed
• Working knowledge of medical terminology
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a clear speaking voice
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Exhibit professionalism towards patients physicians and team members
• Computer literate for EMR

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual Spanish speaking is a plus
• Allergy experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Interacting with patients for 20-60 minutes
• Following allergy protocols
• Educating patients on allergy testing and treatments
• Answering patient calls
• Taking patient histories
• Giving injections
• Performing allergy skin tests
• Obtaining authorizations
• Preparing exam rooms
• Sterilization techniques in accordance with CDC, ENTAAF and if applicable Autoclave manufacturer requirements
