About The Position

Medical Assistants will partner with the providers of Chicago ENT to ensure prompt, accurate, and compassionate patient care. Chicago ENT is seeking experienced MA candidates interested in growing their skills in this unique and comprehensive ENT care setting. This role will report to the Lead Allergy MA and be required to travel to other clinics. The salary range for this role is $18-$22hr.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED equivalent
Current CPR Certification required
Ability to work in a high stress, fast paced environment

Nice To Haves

Graduate of a Medical Assistant Program preferred
Minimum of two years clinical experience preferred
Previous surgical experience preferred
Current Medical Assistant Certification by AAMA, AMT, NHA, or NCCT

Responsibilities

Assisting Physicians, Mid-Level Practitioners, and Registered Nurses with the evaluation, management, and treatment of patients in an ambulatory care setting.
Maintaining patient flow, the upkeep of exam and treatment rooms, and performing basic skills such as vital signs and point of care testing.
Administering intramuscular injections, immunizations, and over-the-counter medications under the direction of a Physician.
Being cross trained over time in all specialties and ancillary services including ENT, Sleep, Allergy, Cosmetic, CT, and Triage.
Being available to work scheduled hours and travel between all office locations where their assigned provider hosts clinic.
Working a weekly schedule not to exceed 40 hours.
Working between the hours of 7 AM to 7 PM.
Working 5 days including Monday to Saturday.
Standing for long periods of time and lifting up to 30 pounds.
