Algorithm Engineering Intern
About The Position
The Algorithm Engineering Intern will work on algorithms and software for KLA products. The role uses traditional and deep learning techniques, including optical, physical, and mathematical modeling, inverse problems, and AI models, to meet and improve product results. The intern will experiment with novel approaches to improve results or reduce computational costs when processing and analyzing measurement spectra and images, build signal and image processing tools for experimentation, manage data used to train and experiment with AI and physics modeling systems, and develop software tools for analyzing measurements and images.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Master's- or PhD-level degree.
Responsibilities
- Apply traditional and deep learning algorithm techniques, including optical, physical, and mathematical modeling, inverse problems, and AI models, to meet and improve results on KLA products.
- Experiment with new techniques to improve results or reduce computational cost for modeling techniques used to process and analyze measurement spectra and images.
- Build signal and image processing and analysis tools to make experimentation more efficient.
- Manage measurement and imaging data used to train and experiment with AI and physics modeling systems.
- Develop software tools and solutions to process and analyze measurements and images for KLA products.
