About The Position

Aisles Online Shoppers fulfill customer grocery orders by selecting high-quality products across all store departments. They ensure orders are accurate, handle fresh and temperature-sensitive products carefully, and help provide a positive online shopping experience. The role is active and fast-paced, with independent work and ongoing attention to deadlines and quality.

Ability to frequently stand and walk throughout a shift.
Ability to perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning and sanitation duties.
Successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs throughout the store.
Select groceries ordered online, choosing high-quality produce, meat, and other fresh products.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
Maintain products at proper temperatures throughout fulfillment.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Cart orders to the holding area for customer pickup.
Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Tender customer orders through POS and process credit card payments.
Substitute products upon customer request or when items are unavailable.
Monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Answer phones and emails promptly and provide friendly, helpful service.
Follow Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks or special projects as needed.
