Airports Marketing & Public Relations Coordinator - City of Fresno
About The Position
The City of Fresno Airports Department is seeking an Airports Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing marketing and air service development activities. The coordinator will develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new or increased passenger and cargo service to Fresno Yosemite International Airport and Fresno Chandler Executive Airport. This is a single-position class, with one vacancy currently in the Administration Division of the Airports Department. The eligible list created from this recruitment will be valid for three months, with the possibility of extension.
Requirements
- Graduated from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, public administration, public relations, advertising or closely related field.
- Four years of experience in management of a marketing or public relations program.
- Possession of a valid Class C California Driver's license, at time of appointment.
- Must attach a copy of Bachelor's Degree or college transcripts for verification of required units.
Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing marketing strategies and activities to attract new/increased passenger and cargo service to Fresno Yosemite International Airport and Fresno Chandler Executive Airport.
- Planning, organizing, and directing the Marketing and Air Service Development activities.
