About The Position

ServiceTec, an independent provider of managed IT services to the aviation industry, is hiring an Airport Systems Support Technician at Palm Beach International Airport in West Palm Beach, Florida. This full-time, onsite role works 8-hour shifts, five days a week, Monday through Friday.

The technician maintains common-use equipment throughout the airport to help ensure seamless operations. The role involves working with computers, proactively and reactively solving problems, and providing customer service. Technical training is provided. The position calls for attention to detail and flexibility with time.

Requirements

• College-level education demonstrated by a BA, BSc, MCP, A+ certification, or equivalent.
• Experience in a site-based customer service environment.
• Demonstrated focus on customer service.
• Ability to move independently throughout work locations and between working levels, access installed equipment locations unaided, and work at height when required.
• Ability to pass through security checkpoints and screening X-ray access points without assistance.
• Visual acuity to interpret and operate customer-owned computer screens and read and write relevant documentation without special accommodation.
• Ability to independently carry tools, test equipment, and replacement equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to drive standard vehicles without modified controls.
