As an Airport Security Officer: Experienced Patrol in Lihue, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic government airport location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents. In this unarmed role, you will support travelers and staff through strong communication and customer service while bringing Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity to every shift.

Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or public agencies when needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public areas, parking locations, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, restricted areas, and credential checks in accordance with location procedures, assisting with traffic flow, directions, and general information when requested.
• Support day-to-day operations at a government transportation location by remaining visible, observing activity, and communicating clearly with staff, visitors, and/or first responders during routine and unusual events.
