As a Security Officer Experienced Patrol in Glassboro, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Requirements

• Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card and/or license is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a food and beverage location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized access, unsecured doors, and other security-related concerns.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and delivery areas while verifying visitor, vendor, and/or contractor access in accordance with site protocols and posted instructions.
• Support access control, incident reporting, and after-hours building checks to help to deter disruptions, property loss, and other security-related issues at the location.
