About The Position

As a Security Officer Experienced Unarmed Patrol in Ashville, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. Requirements

• Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report conditions to site leadership according to established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify potential concerns at the location.
• Monitor access points and verify entry permissions for authorized personnel, visitors, and/or deliveries in accordance with site requirements.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or policy-related concerns with clear written reports and communicate relevant updates during shift transitions.
