About The Position

As an Airport Security Officer: Full Time Patrol in Lihue, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Be able to lift up to 20 pounds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, check credentials as directed, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport and site response procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and/or concerns to Allied Universal leadership and designated site contacts.
