Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 18+ years of age
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and public-sector stakeholders while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter locations, and other assigned airport property to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor and report access control concerns, unattended property, suspicious activity, traffic or pedestrian hazards, and other security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with airport operations, law enforcement, emergency personnel, and/or other designated contacts as directed.
• Complete required activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and promptly.
