Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
21+ years of age
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, access points, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
Monitor for irregular conditions, unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and potential hazards, and document observations through required reports.
Assist with access control, traffic and pedestrian flow, and directions while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic airport environment.
