Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 21+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, tenants, and airport personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established airport protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, public spaces, access points, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor for irregular conditions, unauthorized access, suspicious activity, and potential hazards, and document observations through required reports.
  • Assist with access control, traffic and pedestrian flow, and directions while maintaining a professional presence in a dynamic airport environment.
