As an Airport Security Officer: Patrol Driver Customer Assistance in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support security-related operations, and provide outstanding customer service to travelers and staff. Requirements
- Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
- 21+ years of age
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
- Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and/or stakeholders by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate airport personnel and/or emergency responders.
- Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, access points, perimeter locations, and other assigned areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor access points and observe activities throughout assigned areas, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, policy violations, and/or maintenance concerns according to site procedures.
- Prepare accurate reports and maintain required documentation related to incidents, patrols, and daily activities.
