As a Security Officer Patrol Access Assistance in Detroit, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Using computer or tablet systems as needed, you will communicate clearly and respond professionally to site needs. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• This is primarily a driving post.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Monitor and patrol assigned areas.
• Maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents.
• Support access control activities.
• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Communicate clearly and respond professionally to site needs.
