Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
1+ years of Security Experience
21+ years of age
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to visitors, travelers, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a public transportation location.
Respond to incidents, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with supervisors, public agency representatives, and/or first responders as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout terminals, public access areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
Monitor access points and observe pedestrian and vehicle traffic to help to deter disruptions, support orderly operations, and document security-related concerns according to site procedures.
Prepare accurate reports of incidents, daily activities, and/or policy violations, and provide requested information to site leadership in a timely manner.
