You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors, and communicate clearly with airport personnel and the public. Requirements

Be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
A guard card or license is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, and airport personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or potential concerns.
Monitor access to restricted or controlled areas, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access attempts.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders as directed.
Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports and communicate observations to supervisors and site contacts.
