As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. Requirements

• Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
• 1+ years of Security Experience
• 21+ years of age
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
• Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or government personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of airport terminals, public areas, parking facilities, roadways, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and communicating with appropriate airport personnel and emergency responders.
• Monitor access points and restricted areas as assigned, verify credentials when required, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity through established channels.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain clear communication with supervisors, airport operations personnel, and other assigned stakeholders.
