As a Security Guard Unarmed Patrol Customer Service in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. You will support a caring, people-first culture by working collaboratively, responding with integrity, and contributing to a reliable, innovative environment.

Requirements

  • Possess at least six months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
  • A guard card or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical/petrochemical location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, spills, unauthorized access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, operational areas, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, observing for unusual conditions and reporting findings.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials as assigned, and maintain accurate logs, incident reports, and patrol documentation.
  • Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a professional presence and promptly communicating observed hazards, equipment concerns, and security-related issues to appropriate site personnel.
