Under the general supervision of the Operations and Duty Shift Manager, the Airport Operations Duty Officer is responsible for the operation and monitoring of airport security systems, safety, and building control systems. This role assures continuous safety and security compliance with FAR Part 139, Part 77, TSR Part 1542, Airport Certification Manual, Airport Security Program, DMAA Rules and Regulations, and other applicable federal, state, and local statutes, regulations, and requirements. The position provides operational support to the public, airport tenants, and Authority personnel. The Airport Operations Duty Officer operates various computer software applications and performs related work as required. The nature of the work performed requires interaction with other Authority employees, airport tenants, vendors, and the public. The employee must be capable of prioritizing several tasks concurrently.
