About The Position

The Airport Production Driver transports donuts and inventory from Blue Star Donuts’ Flagship kitchen to the PDX Airport, completes daily production tasks, and helps keep inventory organized and stocked at the airport location. The role follows a strict delivery schedule and includes driving, airport inventory support, glazing and garnishing, and cleaning. The position is part-time and works overnight from 11 p.m. to 7 a.m. The listed pay is $18.45 per hour, plus a $1 per hour overnight shift differential and $6–$7 per hour in tips. Requirements

Have a love for donuts and align with Blue Star’s core values.
Hold a current Oregon food handler credential.
Have a working cell phone and Gmail account.
Complete Blue Star training programs.
Be able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
Pass a federal background check for PDX Airport badging and obtain a PDX Airport badge.
Have a clean driving record and pass a motor vehicle record check.

Nice To Haves

1–2 years of kitchen experience.
1–2 years of hospitality experience.
Experience using Google Workspace, Slack, and Paycom.
Positive, detail-oriented, adaptable, team-oriented, proactive, resilient, and reliable; contributes to and encourages the company’s Donut Party culture.

Responsibilities

Follow Blue Star policies, procedures, and standards.
Maintain safety and sanitation in the kitchen and company vehicles.
Work independently and collaboratively on production and inventory management.
Follow delivery routes and schedules.
Verify and deliver inventory to the PDX Airport.
Maintain company vehicles and complete required documentation.
Organize and manage inventory in the airport storage area.
Communicate with Airport Management to determine inventory needs and bring inventory to the primary location.
Complete assigned daily production glazing and garnishing tasks.
Complete daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning tasks.
