About The Position

The Airport Design Engineer designs airport engineering projects, including runways, taxiways, aprons, airfield lighting, and navigational aids. The role also prepares engineering design reports, construction plans, contract documents, and technical specifications. Experience designing general civil engineering projects—such as site design, sanitary wastewater, water, and hydraulic evaluation—is a plus.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 4 years of experience in the civil engineering field.
• Ability to coordinate multiple project tasks.
• Self-motivated and able to handle a fast-paced position.
• Goal- and deadline-oriented.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office.

Nice To Haves

• Professional Engineer (PE) designation preferred.
• Aviation-related experience and knowledge of FAA criteria are a plus.
• Experience in general civil engineering design, including site design, sanitary wastewater, water, and hydraulic evaluation.
