About The Position

The Aircraft Records Auditor reports directly to the Technical Director and is responsible for accurately maintaining and updating aircraft records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements. This role ensures compliance with all relevant directives and bulletins, completes aircraft technical records audits, and creates work scopes for aircraft being prepared for lease. The auditor will also update aircraft MRB/AD compliance reports, create/amend master templates for MRB compliance, and ensure all required documents are scanned and organized. Coordination with customers and production regarding work scope changes, and with structures for E.O. research and SDIR validation, is also a key part of the role. Additionally, the auditor monitors on-lease assets for maintenance compliance, provides forecasts for maintenance tasks and life-limited parts, assists with import/export documentation, and offers technical assistance to visiting customers for records reviews and planning programs. Core competencies for this position include accountability, attention to detail, problem-solving, accuracy, excellent investigation and critical thinking ability, judgment, professionalism, organization, and time management skills.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated capability and competency in records auditing
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using Microsoft Office suite and similar applications
  • Strong fundamental aircraft maintenance knowledge
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in aircraft maintenance or records auditing

Responsibilities

  • Accurately maintain and update aircraft records in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant directives and bulletins.
  • Complete aircraft technical records audits.
  • Create work scopes for aircraft being prepared for lease and issue changes to the MRO based on customer requests.
  • Update aircraft MRB/AD compliance reports including all task reports and associated work order/work card numbers for each task.
  • Create/amend master templates that tracks compliance to the MRB.
  • Ensure all required documents are scanned and organized in the company approved manner.
  • Coordinate between customers' requests and production and advise MRO of any changes to the work scopes.
  • Coordinate with structures for E.O. research and SDIR validation.
  • Monitor on-lease assets ensuring all maintenance is complied with by lessee.
  • Provide a forecast of maintenance tasks and required life-limited parts for on-lease aircraft.
  • Assist with providing documentation for the import and export of aircraft in or out of Canada.
  • Supply visiting customers with technical assistance / provide guidance on records reviews and planning programs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
