About The Position

The Aircraft Radio Specialist is responsible for troubleshooting, calibration, and repair of the systems assigned T-1, T-38 and T-6 aircraft. Essential Responsibilities: Skilled on use of avionics test equipment required by job assignment. Must be able to read and understand wiring diagrams and Air Force Technical Orders. Accomplishes maintenance 781 forms for work accomplished and IMDS entries. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license with REAL ID within 30 days of employment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain site access.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain site access.
  • Four (4) years of maintenance experience on radio systems, electrical systems, or instrument systems.
  • OR Possess Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certifications.
  • OR Provide a DD214 from prior military training showing Avionics courses and completion dates.
  • Ability to read, speak, and write in English.
  • Ability to meet the physical requirements as stipulated in Appendix E of the CBA.

Responsibilities
