About The Position

Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Aircraft Mechanical Technician A to join our H125 Final Assembly Line team based in Columbus, MS. You will be part of the team to perform mechanical work on assigned aircraft or parts.

Requirements

Minimum of four years related aviation experience
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, sketches, diagrams and technical instructions
Must be able to move about in cramped and awkward positions to perform tasks.
Must be able read, write, and speak English
Must be able to handle heavy components and work in areas where exposure to chemicals and fumes will occur.
US Person under ITAR definition (U.S. Citizen, green card holder or person covered under our existing ITAR license)

Responsibilities

Perform fabrication, assembly, installation, repair, replacement, adjustment, and alignment of parts and components.
Conduct functional check of systems for proper function.
Perform work from three dimensional blueprints, sketches, diagrams, technical manuals, work orders, inspection reports, and other similar documentation.
Perform normal troubleshooting to diagnose malfunction or failures on aircraft equipment furnishings, fire protection, fuel system, hydraulics, landing gear, doors, fuselage, stabilizer, rotor systems, power plant, and engine controls.
