About The Position

The CBA Aircraft Mechanic - T45 Program is responsible for adhering to the Company Tool Control Program and complying with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations. This role ensures the proper operation and use of special test equipment and Ground Support Equipment, maintains records of all work accomplished, and may perform simple computer input functions or off-site service on assigned detachments. The mechanic will perform corrosion control cleaning and removal, assist in ensuring the safety and preservation of Government-owned and Company-owned equipment, and perform other reasonably related incidental duties as directed.

Requirements

  • Must have a minimum of three (3) years documented hands on general experience in this specific aircraft maintenance occupational field, or the military or commercial equivalent, or documented OJT for T/M/S (type/model/series).
  • Must possess mechanical aptitude.
  • Must be familiar with aircraft systems, tools, drawings, schematics and normal safety requirements.
  • Must be able to meet any Government/company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
  • Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
  • Completed High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure proper operation and use of special test equipment and Ground Support Equipment.
  • Maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished.
  • May be required to perform simple computer input functions.
  • May be required to perform off-site service on assigned detachments.
  • Perform corrosion control cleaning and removal as required utilizing appropriate safety precautions.
  • Assist when directed to ensure safety, security, and preservation of Government-owned and Company-owned equipment.
  • Perform other reasonably related incidental duties when directed within the job classification.
