About The Position

This position is for an Aircraft Mechanic on the T45 Program in Pensacola, FL. The role involves performing aircraft maintenance, adhering to safety and tool control programs, and maintaining records. Responsibilities include operating special test equipment, performing corrosion control, and assisting with equipment preservation. The job may require computer input, off-site service on detachments, and adherence to company policies and confidentiality.

Requirements

• Must have a minimum of three (3) years documented hands on general experience in this specific aircraft maintenance occupational field, or the military or commercial equivalent, or documented OJT for T/M/S (type/model/series).
• Must possess mechanical aptitude.
• Must be familiar with aircraft systems, tools, drawings, schematics and normal safety requirements.
• Must be able to meet any Government/company licensing/qualification requirements for the position.
• Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
• Completed High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and Company Proprietary data.

Nice To Haves

• FAA A&P License is desired.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for adhering to Company Tool Control Program.
• Comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations.
• Ensure proper operation and use of special test equipment and Ground Support Equipment.
• Maintain appropriate records of all work accomplished.
• May be required to perform simple computer input functions.
• May be required to perform off-site service on assigned detachments.
• Perform corrosion control cleaning and removal as required utilizing appropriate safety precautions.
• Assist when directed to ensure safety, security, and preservation of Government-owned and Company-owned equipment.
• Perform other reasonably related incidental duties when directed within the job classification.
