The incumbent is responsible to service, troubleshoot, repair and inspect aircraft to ensure airworthiness. This role involves performing maintenance on Ground Support Equipment, maintaining aircraft logbooks and historical data, and ensuring compliance with safety, foreign object damage, and tool control program requirements. The position also includes washing, waxing, cleaning, and maintaining the exterior and interior of aircraft, serving as a point of contact with the Quality Assurance Representative, and advising management of problems that may delay scheduled delivery of aircraft. Additionally, the role ensures that materials issued for assigned tasks are correct and properly documented, provides on-the-job training to new employees, and assists with supervision and inspection of maintenance performed by FAA certified and non-certified personnel. Servicing of oxygen, nitrogen, tires, oil, and hydraulic systems, as well as inspecting for and treating corrosion on aircraft and Ground Support Equipment, are also key functions. The role requires exhibiting positive and courteous behavior with customers, businesses, and coworkers, and assisting coworkers and other departments as necessary. All safety procedures and practices established by the Company and regulatory bodies must be followed.
