About The Position
At Piedmont Airlines, we are seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Maintenance Parts Receiver in our Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for accepting the delivery of parts, completing receiving forms and ensuring FAA documentation matches specific parts being received. The successful candidate will be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and have previous experience with shipping and receiving. This position reports to the Aircraft Maintenance Parts Supervisor.
Requirements
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail
- Previous experience with shipping and receiving
- Clear driving record
- 10-year Criminal History Records Check
- Drug screen
- Proof of high school or GED completion
- Minimum 18 years of age
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience with inventory software
- Previous airline experience
- Previous experience with FAA parts
Responsibilities
- Accept delivery of parts from couriers and complete receiving forms
- Receive parts in inventory tracking program using purchase order documentation and determine internal distribution needs
- Ensure FAA documentation matches specific parts being received
- Identify, process, and correct any discrepancies found during the receiving process
- Ensure all parts contain the correct identification tags
- Differentiate between Shelf Life and HAZMAT parts and label accordingly
- Ensure parts are stored in a manner that preserves their unit worthiness
- Ensure pass down reports are completed at the end of each shift
