About The Position

The Aircraft Engineering group is a cross-functional team of Structural, Electrical and Integration engineers whose mandate is to facilitate the retrofit installation of Avionica products on Part 23/25 aircraft. In support of this mandate, the team generates electrical and structural integration documents such as Wire Termination Drawings, Wire Routing drawings and other pertinent data to facilitate the integration of avionics into the aircraft ecosystem. Additionally, the team finds compliance to FAA (and other Civil Aviation Authorities) regulations to obtain Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) approvals as well as providing on-site support during component installations on aircraft. The Aircraft Engineer supports the team’s mandate by leveraging expertise in aircraft systems integration, electrical engineering principles and customer management, to drive integration projects from the scope definition phase all the way through to final installation on an aircraft.
