About The Position

The Aircraft Integration Technician will be responsible for the creation, modification, routing and installation of aircraft system wire harnesses and electrical and avionics systems on manned and unmanned aircraft in accordance with DOD, manufacturer, company, supplier and other directives. The Integration Technician reports to the Lead Integration Technician and Director of Manufacturing.

Requirements

• Considerable knowledge of structural, composite, mechanical and electrical aircraft processes, systems and associated regulations
• Considerable knowledge of aircraft related assembly/repair/installation processes, tools, composites, templates, fixtures, testing and measuring devices as well as judgment to determine correct process, tools, and/or material
• Ability to read, interpret, and explain blueprints, drawings, and maintenance manuals
• Experience installing, modifying, and adjusting various complex aircraft assemblies and structures
• Experience in the use of various hand tools and aircraft electrical crimping tools
• Experienced in routing electrical harnesses and cables

Responsibilities

• Installs, modifies and tests aircraft structural, composite, avionics, and/or electrical systems to ensure they are operational and meet required quality standards
• Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems
• Completes all required documentation in accordance with established company procedures and/or government and customer technical order requirements
• In the absence of established procedures, confers with Lead Integration Technician and / or Manufacturing Engineer
• Expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices
