GENERAL SUMMARY The Avionics Structures Technician supports aircraft modification projects by performing structural alterations, fabrication, installation, and interior modification work associated with avionics, connectivity, and cabin technology upgrades. Working alongside Avionics Technicians, Engineers, and Inspectors, this position performs sheet metal, composite, and structural modifications required to install advanced avionics and aircraft systems. This position supports avionics and aircraft modification projects on a variety of business aviation platforms, including Challenger 300 and 600 series, Learjet 45 and 60, King Air 90/200/300 series, Citation 560, 560XL/XLS/XLS+, and Citation 575 aircraft. Technicians work on a wide range of modernization projects including Garmin flight deck upgrades, Collins Fusion installations, Starlink, Gogo, AirText, USB power solutions, and other connectivity and cabin technology enhancements. The ideal candidate combines strong aircraft structural skills with the ability to interpret engineering drawings, installation packages, and FAA-approved technical data while maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship, quality, and safety. This position contributes directly to delivering aircraft that exceed customer expectations.
