About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a senior-level Air & Missile Defense Radar Simulation Engineer/Analyst to join its Air & Missile Defense team, supporting development, test, and fielding of air and missile defense radar systems. The role involves working with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems, tactical software and hardware, and all-digital representations of complex air and missile defense radars. Typical work includes developing scenarios and analysis tools and applying existing or new tools to analyze radar-system performance. The position also provides opportunities to deepen understanding of radar functions such as acquisition, scheduling, tracking, discrimination, advanced functions, and system-level interactions. Projects may include performance analysis, post-flight reconstruction, simulation integration, simulation execution and analysis, and risk-reduction efforts. The role is performed in a dynamic, collaborative team environment. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at a customer site, with 0–10% travel. The position is not contingent upon contract award; relocation assistance is not available.
