About The Position

Torch Technologies is seeking a senior-level Air & Missile Defense Radar Simulation Engineer/Analyst to join its Air & Missile Defense team. The team supports the development, testing, and fielding of air and missile defense radar systems. The position involves working with real-time hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) systems, tactical software and hardware, and all-digital representations of complex air and missile defense radars. Work includes scenario design and development, analysis-tool development, and applying existing or new tools to analyze radar-system performance. The role builds understanding of radar functions such as acquisition, scheduling, tracking, discrimination, advanced functions, and system-level interactions. Projects may include performance analysis, post-flight reconstructions, simulation integration, simulation execution and analysis, and risk-reduction efforts. The work environment is described as dynamic and collaborative, encouraging teamwork and creative solutions. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., at the customer site, with 0–10% travel. The position is not contingent upon a contract award, and relocation assistance is not available. The candidate must be a U.S. citizen and currently possess a SECRET clearance.
