About The Position

SPX Sigma-Omega Corporation is seeking a person who has experience in the HVAC industry to join our commercial products team as a Air Conditioner Technician - HVAC Manufacturing - in a full-time position. The successful applicant should also be a responsible team-player, who is able to work individually and has strong attention to detail in performing everyday tasks.

Requirements

5+ years’ experience working on Commercial Air Conditioning/ Rooftop Units, license not required
Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics
Relevant experience with VFD and PLC programming
Must be able to lift to 50 lb.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced production environment
Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
Must be able to perform duties with minimal supervision
Experience with VFD programming and PLC Wiring
Experienced in wiring electrical panels with the use of wiring diagram and schematics
Experienced in all aspects of Commercial A/C Units

Responsibilities

Testing, Troubleshoot A/C Units (2 Ton to 90 Ton units) on assembly line
Meet quality compliance requirements
Maintain a clean and organized work environment with Safety First in mind
Perform repetitive work in a manufacturing environment, frequently required to walk, reach, bend, or lift materials weighing less than 50 pounds.
