The Ramp Agent loads and unloads cargo—including mail, express, freight, and company materials—on and off aircraft, and transfers cargo on the ramp when required. The role also involves receiving, delivering, and physically handling freight and company materials; transporting furnishings and supplies to and from aircraft; and helping load, unload, and rack filled and empty drums. The agent may clean work areas, ramps, and facilities, with or without powered equipment, and may assist with facility security. The role requires compliance with WFS site-security procedures and reporting security breaches, suspicious activity, or non-compliance. This is a seasonal position running from the current month through January 2027. Schedules are either an AM shift Tuesday through Sunday, 3:00 a.m.–7:00 a.m., or a PM shift Monday through Friday, 4:45 p.m.–7:45 p.m., with fluctuating weekend shifts on Saturday or Sunday, 4:00 p.m.–7:00 p.m. Work takes place in variable weather and environmental conditions, including jet-engine fumes and noise, vehicle emissions, and dust. Agents must load and unload aircraft cargo weighing up to 70 pounds in confined cargo areas, move loaded containers on rollers, transport cargo to and from aircraft using vehicles and attached carts in congested areas, and read off-load sheets to identify cargo destinations.
