Requirements

• No previous experience needed, training provided.
• Must meet the PA residency requirement.
• Must be able to perform essential job functions.
• Conditional offer of employment will require satisfactory completion of a medical examination and drug screening.
• Conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.

Responsibilities

• Support patients with daily living tasks and care routines
• Use effective communication skills during patient interactions and crisis situations
• Record observations and patient information clearly and in a timely manner
• Work with supervisors, nurses, and staff to complete assignments and adapt to changes
• Follow hospital policies, infection control methods, and proper equipment use
• Accompany patients to appointments, activities, and visits both on and off grounds
