About The Position

MANTECH seeks an AI Workflow Intern supporting the U.S. Marine Corps Systems Command Office of the Chief Engineer. The intern will create new logical agentic workflows and improve existing workflows to provide analytical capabilities that accelerate digital engineering, enterprise architecture, and portfolio analysis. The position is 10 hours per week during the academic year and up to 40 hours per week during academic breaks. The role can be performed remotely and in Stafford, Virginia, as required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens and hold an active Secret clearance or be eligible to obtain a U.S. security clearance.

Requirements

U.S. citizenship and an active Secret clearance or eligibility to obtain a U.S. security clearance.
Full-time student pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science, Systems Engineering, or a related field, with a graduation date no earlier than December 2027.
Familiarity with USMC systems, acquisition, and engineering activities.
Experience building web-based user interfaces for AI agents.
Experience with prompt and persona development for AI agents and workflows, coding, and code integration and testing using C++, Python, JavaScript, or FlowiseAI for agentic development.
Ability to work remotely and in Stafford, Virginia, as required.
Ability to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.

Nice To Haves

Active DoD Secret clearance.
Experience working in a team environment, receiving and evaluating agentic design criteria, and working iteratively using agile development.

Responsibilities

Conceptualize, design, develop, test, and fine-tune agentic workflows, including structuring and manipulating data to feed the workflows.
Review, interpret, and validate AI-developed outputs against initial requirements to ensure the workflow objectives are met.
