About The Position

Ericsson is seeking an experienced AI Velocity Program Director to coordinate execution of its AI Velocity vision across sales, delivery and common functions in the Americas. The vision combines trusted data, shared platforms and human expertise to simplify operations, accelerate innovation and create intelligent offerings. This highly visible senior individual contributor role is based in Plano, Texas, and reports to the Head of Commercial Management & AI Velocity, who is a member of the Americas Leadership Team. The director leads monthly and quarterly AI Velocity governance meetings with the Americas Leadership Team and global stakeholders. Working through project leaders and dedicated project resources, the role translates strategic priorities into an integrated program roadmap and ensures initiatives meet agreed schedule, budget and quality commitments while delivering measurable business value. Success depends on strategic judgment, disciplined execution, trusted relationships and influence across organizational boundaries. The role partners with Finance and business owners to establish baselines, success measures and benefits tracking, validating outcomes such as productivity, cost efficiency, delivery quality and customer impact. It also supports adoption, operational readiness and ownership after implementation, and incorporates responsible AI, security and compliance requirements with the relevant owners.

  • Ability to mobilize teams and influence senior stakeholders without direct reporting authority, navigate competing priorities and hold owners accountable.
  • Practical AI fluency to assess opportunities, limitations and delivery risks, and work credibly with business, technology, platform and data specialists.
  • Curiosity to challenge established ways of working, judgment to navigate ambiguity, and persistence to turn ambitious goals into sustained results.
