About The Position

CSL's Co-op Program is a hands-on experience that showcases the daily innovation and operations of a leading biotechnology company. Our environment is collaborative, global, and purpose-driven. The 26-week experience will immerse students in meaningful, thought-provoking projects that contribute to CSL's promise to save lives and protect the health of people around the world. In addition to making an impact, students will be developed personally and professionally while cultivating meaningful relationships.

Requirements

  • Enrolled in a 4-year university with progression toward an undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, the Sciences, Economics, Technology-focused Business, or a related field that involves analytical reasoning – preferably Junior or Senior
  • Open to students from technical and non-technical backgrounds
  • Experience with data analysis and analytical reasoning
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn new technologies
  • Good communication skills to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
  • Ability to work well with all levels of the organization
  • Demonstrates flexibility and acceptance of assignments and schedules
  • Enthusiasm to learn new tools & technologies
  • Maintains professional behavior

  • Previous internships or academic projects related to AI or machine learning are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support Management of the AI Project Portfolio: help manage CSL’s AI projects by conducting analyses of the portfolio and contribute to the development of portfolio strategies. Work directly with stakeholders to refine project scopes. Track milestones, dependencies, and risks across multiple initiatives.
  • Support Individual AI Projects: work alongside CSL Product Managers to support the delivery and execution of large-scale AI work across different company departments. Support value framing and help develop Key Performance Indicators and product metrics. Projects may include AI assistants, agentic workflows, and enterprise platforms.
  • Assist with AI pilot programs: Support the planning, research, coordination and evaluation of AI tool pilots including tracking progress, documenting learnings, and preparing stakeholder readouts.
  • Create internal AI content: Help create and maintain internal materials like how-to guides, FAQs and enablement content (especially on low code solutions) to help CSL teams understand and adopt AI tools at scale, responsibly.
  • Develop AI Product Artifacts: work with team members and other company stakeholders to develop artifacts such as scoping documents, one-pagers, executive summaries, and internal informational content.
  • Effectively Communicate Program Initiatives: interact with other technology teams, business partners, and company leaders to share program and project updates through presentations and written communications.
  • Design and Implement Gen AI/Agentic AI Solutions: Design and implement low-code/no-code Gen AI and Agentic AI solutions using platforms such as Copilot Studio, Amazon Q, UiPath Autopilot & Studio, and other relevant tools. Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, and user-friendly
  • Research and Enablement: Conduct lightweight research on AI tools and other related topics. Develop strategic positions and communicate back to the AI team and other relevant stakeholders.
