About The Position

Join our team as an AI Engineering Co-op and work alongside experienced engineers to design, build, and deploy AI-powered applications using the latest technologies, including Large Language Models (LLMs), machine learning, and automation. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain real-world experience while contributing to innovative projects that improve customer and employee experiences.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related post-secondary program.
Experience programming in Python, Java, JavaScript, or another modern programming language through coursework, personal projects, or internships.
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, including machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), or Large Language Models (LLMs).
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with a willingness to learn new technologies and work collaboratively in an Agile environment.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Git, APIs, SQL, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP), or AI frameworks such as LangChain, OpenAI, Hugging Face, or similar is an asset.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and test AI-powered applications and automation solutions using Large Language Models (LLMs), Python, and modern AI frameworks.
Build and optimize prompts, AI workflows, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions to solve real business challenges.
Collaborate with software engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders to prototype, evaluate, and deploy AI features.
Analyze datasets, evaluate AI model performance, and recommend improvements based on experimentation and user feedback.
Document technical solutions, share learnings with the team, and contribute to continuous improvement of AI development practices.
